Platon Properties is a property developer based in Limassol, Cyprus. We build and sell our own residential projects. This privacy policy explains how we handle the personal information you share with us through our website.

What we collect
We only collect information you choose to share with us. Typically that's:
- Contact details — name, email, phone number — when you fill in a lead form or message us on WhatsApp.
- The content of your enquiry — what you'd like to know, your budget range, the type of apartment you're interested in.
- Basic technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited — collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and to keep the site working.
We do not collect special-category data (health, political views, etc.) or financial information through this website.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a tailored proposal.
- To follow up if you've asked us to.
- To improve the website (anonymous traffic patterns).
- To comply with our legal obligations as a Cyprus-registered company.
The legal basis under EU/Cyprus GDPR is your consent (when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest in answering people who reach out to us.
Who else sees it
We share your information only with parties who help us run the business:
- Kommo CRM — our customer-relationship platform; lead-form submissions are stored there so our sales team can follow up. Kommo's privacy policy: kommo.com/privacy.
- Sanity — content management for the website (no visitor data is stored in Sanity).
- Hosting provider — for serving the website.
We never sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties for advertising.
How long we keep it
Lead-form submissions and WhatsApp conversations are retained for as long as needed to serve your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) so we can answer follow-up questions. After that we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete sooner — see below.
Your rights
Under EU/Cyprus GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask us what data we hold about you (right of access).
- Ask us to correct it if it's wrong (rectification).
- Ask us to delete it (erasure / "right to be forgotten").
- Object to certain uses, or ask us to restrict them.
- Receive a portable copy of the data you provided.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Cyprus Data Protection Commissioner (dataprotection.gov.cy).

Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies for basic functionality (e.g. remembering that the loading screen has shown). Embedded third-party tools — such as the Kommo lead form and the WhatsApp link — may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Children
The website is intended for adults considering a property purchase. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be reflected on the homepage.
